Why do we need to continue SS protection for the Obama's? He's out of office, seems like a waste of good money.
I understand the sarcasm in your post here.
Rational people that see this thread will understand immediately that the OP is just another attempt to keep the dumbed down useful idiots in a state of outrage, foaming at the mouth, with hair ignition over a POTUS they hate, and most others are perfectly happy with.
The Trump Family is worth every penny for their protection.
No one wants to see any of them hurt. That's an Olympic sized reach.
His estranged wife and child need to come to the White House like every other first family, rather than having to support two full security forces to protect the first family at a huge expense.
What the Florida, New York, and U.S. taxpayers are covering is a drop in the bucket to what this swindler is going to cost before this is all said and done.

And what did the disaster know as Obamacare cost us? A couple of trillion plus the 150% increases many of us saw in our premiums.

Why? Exactly? does anyone NEED to do anything a lib, or anyone else, says they need to do?
It's a free country. Whom is it that is dictating your living arrangement?
I have no problem with Secret Service coverage for wife and minor children (who live within the household).
But these richy rich grown kids with their billion dollar businesses, should decline SS protection and pay for their own private security. They can well afford it.
Maybe that is one perk we could cut. Most former Presidents don't need this security more than 5 years after they leave office. Let's face it, they may not be that rich when they come into office but they sure as heck have money after they leave office. Most write books and give speeches and can more than afford their own security.
