And all that whining and complaining over the cost of Obama's travels. If the out-of-work, can-hardly-make-ends-meet Trump supporter can't see how obscene this expenditure of tax dollars is in order to support the Trump's family's grotesquely self-indulgent lifestyle is, there's no hope for them.

They had to? They HAD to?

This is why we laugh.

What's so funny about that? Don't you think minor children should live with their parents? There is a perfectly good residence in DC that the president and his family (including minor children) have stayed in for years. And there are perfectly good schools in DC that children of the president can attend.

Trump accepts no salary and his grown kids are potential targets from Terrorist.

He is getting perks that other presidents didn't have. What other president maintained two separate residences in two separate states that require the states to pay millions in security?

CN

Kinda like the village idiots that continually whined about Obama's vacations and golfing, right?

1) Were you angered by Obama's vacations?

2) Are you angered by Trump's trips and golfing outings? (after only 3 weeks of work)

If not "yes" to both, why not?

And he is one of only three Presidents not to accept the salary as President. https://www.theatlantic.com/politics...salary/507965/

I imagine if we were to plot the 4 week expenditures of both, Trump would be ahead (and probably by a fair margin).

Well, I did this a few posts ago with the Obama family's costs - the Obamas cost tax payers over 3.4 million PER DAY.

That's right. Per DAY.

If you can dig up what Trump's family is costing per day, it would make for an interesting comparison. I can't find any info on that yet.

Do you think it comes to over 92 million dollars?

All former presidents have Secret Service protection, as has been the case for many, many years. There are still lots of nutjobs out there who'd love to become immortal through ways that don't bear speaking of.
