And all that whining and complaining over the cost of Obama's travels. If the out-of-work, can-hardly-make-ends-meet Trump supporter can't see how obscene this expenditure of tax dollars is in order to support the Trump's family's grotesquely self-indulgent lifestyle is, there's no hope for them.
The security level assigned to the Trump family equals the insanity on the left. If the left would pipe down with their nonsense, simply admit Trump won, and move on, life for everybody would be better.

What's so funny about that? Don't you think minor children should live with their parents? There is a perfectly good residence in DC that the president and his family (including minor children) have stayed in for years. And there are perfectly good schools in DC that children of the president can attend.
I have no problem with Secret Service coverage for wife and minor children (who live within the household).
But these richy rich grown kids with their billion dollar businesses, should decline SS protection and pay for their own private security. They can well afford it.
Just because he's a billionaire doesn't mean he shouldn't have the same perks that any other president has had.
Like I said, when his security expenses exceed those of the Obamas, someone let us know. Till then, it's non news.

Why do we need to continue SS protection for the Obama's? He's out of office, seems like a waste of good money.
All former presidents have Secret Service protection, as has been the case for many, many years. There are still lots of nutjobs out there who'd love to become immortal through ways that don't bear speaking of.
