Do we really not want clean water and air? I know everyone says "economy," but you can't drink or breathe "economy."

The Chinese figured this out just a few years ago.

They were destroying their own country in the race to build out steel production etc.

Now they see the insane folly of their ways, and are working hard to fix the damage.

And we Get Trump and the GOP willing to fill our children with heavy metals to keep some coal fire power plants going . .. . Who owns them and why is Trump willing to pollute the nation to support these owners...

but its ok to appoint the head of the oil company to run the EPA? [the actual guy appointed to run the EPA is actually worse, but you get my point] because thats what trumps appointments have been. I know you are going to say how trump won and hillary lost, right?

There was a time in WV - when you coal dust was everywhere. Including the streams. Black sludge in the streams.

Is this what they want?

I take everything coming out from the news with a grain of salt. I for deregulation of environmental laws from business's.

With that said do hope with less laws the Government creates laws encouraging transperency of business's environmental impact and their efforts to lessen their impact. Also make public quarterly records. For agriculture place camera's in areas where livestock are used for food. Make public records of government inspectin of places where food come from.

We should have empathy for people that vote against their own self interests.

Also, people may not have realized that these kind of things would happen.

Either way, we should care about our fellow people regardless of political party or how they voted. Hoping people die to prove a point is not what this country should be about. We are better than that.

Trump is making America great again!

Great for coal mining companies anyway.

Maybe Trump will get rid of mine safety and labor regulations too. Lots of coal jobs for everyone! Even children!
