I'll say what I did when this issue was brought up with Obama: the president still works on vacation.

I know, since I've always said that, I wasn't the target of this question, but let's face it: I'm objectively right here. Always have been, at least on this issue.

That said, just for fun, Trump's administration is still a **** show. Take this Flynn thing. How is it that Sean Spicer, Kellyanne Conway, and Trump himself all seemed to have a different explanation for what happened. Either Trump is in charge and sucks at his job OR no one is charge. Either way, this is a **** show.

It really doesn't matter where the president is, he's working. The cost of maintaining the presidency is well over a billion a year regardless. The two 747s that serve as AF1 cost a fortune even sitting on the ground. Obama wasn't shy about using them and Michelle wasn't shy about using the other planes at her disposal when she took her own trips whether for official business or her own vacations. If the country gets better, stocks and economic factors get better, health care is reformed and made affordable, appropriate ecological protections are put into place, and people have personal freedoms, jobs and safety I really don't care where the President is on any given day.

That is why they call him Mr. President.

Otherwise, I have NO issue with a First Family taking occasional trips and vacations.

Btw? Ronald Reagan.
no it wont change a thing, remember that trump designated trump towers as the second location for secret service protection, meaning there ill be full time secret service there whether tump and family are there or not.

When his name is Trump, gold comes out of his wherever, right, and somehow we hardworking Americans will benefit from that?

He has declined the White House salary of 400K saying it means nothing to him, just like how the 500K per DAY it costs taxpayers money to protect precious little Barron/Melania ('cus Barron can't handle switching school midyear) means nothing to the tax paying Trumpettes.

Don't you people know how to fix your posts?

When you see a quote by two different posters delete the one on the right.

He should be, that is. But there are exceptions to every rule, and Trump is the exception.
