The man is a con. A straight up in your face, lying, bumbling, bigoted, foul mouthed, degenerate womanizing, narcissistic sycophant. He's a con man, has flat out looked America in the face and lied. He has installed more Wall Street pals into power than he blamed Hillary of 'colluding with'- and they can't seem to even admit that. Now it's all 'great' and 'wonderful'.
What is frightening is the speed and efficiency that he snowed the most vulnerable of our population- the hard core right.
Well, when there is a vacuum......you know what happens....... Simple applied physics.
If you find an empty space you get to fill it with your crap.
No one said conservatives want to silence the press.
Trump wants to silence it.
Not true. He just wants them to report the truth. As he said in his presser, he can take a bad story. If it is true. The twisted and often untrue narrative the press insists on is what he (and other Americans) have a problem with.
McCain is an old fool. Obama was the first to bash the media and right now all that is happening is calling the press out I wish President Trump would make it a criminal offense if false information is not checked and printed as the truth. But that may be a fine line
Just the suggestion of shutting up the press is ridiculous as all President Trump does is to show how ridiculous they are with their propaganda reporting
He's trying to de-legitimize the press. I'm sure the press is a pain in the a*s to every President, but it's part of the package. They're not going anywhere fast. He has to accept that. If he continues to whine loudly, it will start to reflect more on him than them.
Oh the right and their name calling when things don't go their way.McCain is looking out for American while Trump is trying to trade it off to the Russians but if you think it's ok comrade just tell us.

So, shall we take mccain out of the picture on this? Think back to the basic premise, which is that someone who wants to be a dictator will act first to stifle the press... there may be a point to that:
"after months of arrests and detentions of prominent journalists, the country hit a new low: courts seized control of opposition newspaper Zaman, one of Turkey’s leading media outlets."
"If some websites and stories even slightly criticised the election, the Intore immediately logged comments ridiculing and denouncing the authors, and saying that their lives in Rwanda were happy. They wrote vehement letters to newspapers defending the president and his victory – and always gave their full names, so they could be seen for this loyalty. They knew the president’s office was watching."
"The main purpose of this campaign is to depict what the world of news would look like if independent journalism ceased to exist. More than likely, we would have a one-sided story, and a blindfold over our eyes."
