The guy is getting completely railroaded with a bias and untrue media attack, but that seems to be the norm today with the MSM.
MSM doesn't like that someone can have so much influence over people from their bedroom with almost zero expenses to put out their material to the world.
Most people don't care about this all. The news media has made a big deal about this because there are a lot of Jews in the media and the idea of the most popular youtube personality having anti-Jewish views excites them. This is just a part of Jewish culture. They even make jokes about it sometimes.
Mixing anti-semitism with humor is a tricky business. You better be really good at it if you're going to pull it off. And if you make a living courting controversy, own it. I don't really want to hear about how you've been misunderstood when it backfires from time to time.
I do find it interesting however that people ostensibly on the left side of the political spectrum are lodging the same complaints about the MSM that the right has been lodging for some time now and catching flak for it from the left for doing so. It's easier to cheer on the schoolyard bully when he punches the kid you can't stand in the gut; it's not quite as amusing when he turns around and gives your friend a bloody nose.
The WSJ puts out about 2.5 million copies per edition with about 1 million digital subscribers.
Pewdiepie gets about 12 million views a day, over 50 million subscribers and he is a one man operation.
WSJ, as well as the rest of print media and the MSM are scared and trying to stop the inevitable from happening. They are dying so all integrity has been thrown out the window to try and get their ratings up, eliminate their competition etc...
One guy makes $14M per year just from making youtube vids? Really?
