Suppose all the Bernie Sanders voters started a revolution. They loot Bill Gates's bank account and give all the money to the poor and middle-class. What would that actually accomplish? The poor and middle-class will spend the money (on cars, drugs, Netflix, college degrees, Olive Garden dinners, etc.), which, in the short-term, will seem like the economy is booming, but once the money has been squandered, instead of having been invested, they are back to being poor again. The entire reason that our economy grows is because of the "excess income" that Sanders voters want to eliminate.
