Eh, FOX is a conservative propaganda network, but they've also hedged their bets at all times for ratings. Like never inviting Karl Rove back after his 2012 meltdown and election disaster. With McCain, Blunt and other prominent conservatives starting to speak openly about investigating Trump, the winds are slowly changing away from him.
I think Wallace is more of a real journalist than just about anyone on CNN. He never lets anyone get away with anything, regardless of what party they are in.
That said, I would hardly call that a smackdown. I think they both got their points across in this interview.
