6% unemployment vs USA's 5%. Economy growing with 4.1% in 2015 (vs 2% in the US), one of the lowest incarceration rates in the world, 112 murders in 2015, one of the least corrupted countries in the world, one of the lowest income equality and poverty rates in the world.

Yes, Sweden is truly a multicultural hell.

I tried the Daily Fail link with a Swedish IP and that page truly is blocked.

The incident was very widely reported all over Sweden for weeks, so there's no conspiracy.

any country that relies heavily on tourism isn't going to promote it's faults. I read somewhere that one of the hottest fashion trends in Europe right now is chastity belts.

That's funny that Swedish government statistics don't mention the ethnicity of a criminal.

So, there is no "official" way of knowing what percentage of rapes and other crimes are committed by refugees and immigrants. They are all just "Swedes." LOL

Well, it doesn't quite work that way in the U.S.

The U.S.A. took in a record number of muslim refugees just last year so the figures for the ensuing crime wave they're solely responsible for should be readily available in Trumplandia....er.........shouldn't they?

U.S. admits record number of Muslim refugees in 2016 | Pew Research Center

Key facts about refugees to the U.S. | Pew Research Center

You've got all the info one would need to make an informed decision going back at least 15 years of muslim immigrants, so what's the hold up? Why look abroad when you can compile your own stats to support Trump's premise that Muslim Refugees are a scourge upon the earth?

Really; then what's the hold-up ...publish those stats showing proof of muslim refugees and their corresponding rampant crimes in the U.S.???? See my post #55 above?

We'll wait.

How could anyone read this story and tell themselves and others that there is not a great grain of truth in it?

Trump is right: Sweden's refugee policy has led to problems it never imagined | Coffee House

Why is it inconceivable that governments would hide (or try to hide) from the public, especially the public in the world at large, problems they didn't anticipate, don't know what to do about, can't handle, have lost control of, and which are overwhelming their society? Even a small child with large smudges of chocolate around his lips will tell his mother he didn't eat that last chocolate chip cookie.

Not all of this story shows that it is the fault of the refugees entirely (other than decent human beings one would hope would behave like decent human beings no matter the circumstances and unfortunately often they don't, particularly when they are in groups) but the fact is there IS a problem in Sweden (and elsewhere) connected to the mass of refugees and economic migrants, etc. who are flooding into those countries.

It behooves us to examine what went wrong, what is still going wrong and try to see if we a) should take on any more ourselves b) how many if any we take in and how fast we take them in c) how to best handle the situation (current and future) so that what is happening there in Sweden and elsewhere doesn't also happen here.

This is just common sense! And it doesn't even have to single anyone out by religion or colour or any other such criteria. Oh yes, we could add the dangers inherent (and yes, I do believe there are many) in 'importing' large masses of those of a certain 'culture' which doesn't have a great reputation for its treatment of women or those not in its culture, etc. but we don't have to do that to see that there are issues involved purely in the idea of mass migrations that need to be considered and dealt with, preferably before one opens the doors.

If people just deny, deny, deny that anything could or did go wrong, wrong, wrong .. you will get what you darned well deserve and it won't be pretty. So go ahead, pretend nothing is amiss in Sweden (because politically you think that the person/persons suggesting there could be things to think about are morons) and base all decisions here on that rather than acknowledge the facts and the possibilities (even probabilities) that there could be problems for us if we do what they did.

Critical thinking .. involves .. guess what .. THINKING!

They would have no easy way to do that nor reason.

Feel free however to provide actual proof.
