All the flaws of CNN are still present. Anyone who thinks this is some light at the end of the tunnel is someone who assumes that CNN's problem is that they lean left. I call these people idiots, to be very frank about it. That was never CNNs problem. Sure, they lean left and at times it's frustrating, especially if your the wrong kind of left (like a Bernie Sanders voter), but even then, their issue isn't bias. That's not even really Fox's problem, who's bias is usually more obvious. No, it's that they sensationalize, serve the interest of money, and selectively editorialize. All the mainstream news does it, even the "Fake News," but it also applies to all those neat alternative news sights. Even local channels, as they attempt to compete with mega-news like CNN, do it (though local news is typically overall still more worth the watch).

Here's some foundational journalism for you: that article is what's called an editorial or opinion piece. It reflects the opinion of that one particular author, not CNN as a whole. It is true that McMaster has bipartisan support. But you're the one spinning here, and I'm sure you'll get all upset next time CNN publishes something that you don't agree with.

The stories they report have a modicum of truth to them, but they way they twist and spin, along with their snark and toxicity makes both the stories and the delivery fake. Videos are edited, words and entire sentences are omitted, context is completely off. The end result is: FAKE!
CNN approves?... that's a caution flag for me... not a red flag, just a caution.
