I said in another thread the internet divisions of CNN and MSNBC do post a more realistic articles - they are not as left leaning as the TV broadcasts.
Found this on CNN... These are accounts of several people who were not happy with Trump and took a chance on him - and are pleased at the results so far. Don't look for this on your favorite CNN TV program.
Trump's 40% approval rating is 21 points below average for a president finishing his first month in office, while his 87% approval rating among Republicans is second only to that of George W. Bush among all GOP presidents elected in the last 65 years, Gallup reported Friday.
Put another way, a greater percentage of Republicans support Trump than backed Ronald Reagan after his first four weeks in the Oval Office.
I called a number of Republicans I met along the campaign trail to find out what they think of Trump now. Some bemoaned his blustery style. None disputed his policies.
Which goes to show that the vast majority of so-called conservatives preaching liberty and freedom and thumping the bible are just putting on a show. Thats not what they're about. They have always longed for an authoritarian crony capitalist and now they got one.
Trump is doing a fine job. The media/lib hysteria was expected in fact it was a major reason why I voted for him.
Thats another really bad reason to vote for a person. Why not focus on who the person you vote for serves? The big money donor class, Wall Street and special interests or the 99%?

the problem there is that would require some effort. and sadly both the left and right are guilty of not bothering to learn much about the people they vote for.
Hillary had policies I could really get behind, not just because I agreed with them, but because most of it might actually be something that could be accomplished. Unlike Trump's polices without plans. For some reason his supporters did not mind his refusal to share his plans to complete his policies. And here we are a month in and he still has not disclosed his plans.
Trump promised ACA repeal right away, he even said as soon as 1 hour. It turns out he lied, he has since admitted that his "plan" is not ready, the GOP plan is not ready and nobody has a plan that might really work other than going back to the bad old days of caps, pre existing and death pools...

In the end - there are two real candidates. Do you expect people to just invent their own candidate out of thin air? You vote for who is on the ballot. Get over it...

Most people want the companies that employ them to do well in hopes of continuing to receive a job and paycheck.
People with 401Ks want companies in which they are invested to do well.
Then their are the jealous people who want to see those who are more successful fail.

I don't have to answer to you. Liberals were running roughshod and were getting too cocky. Trump is just the guy to bring them down a peg or two.

Thats a meek attitude. Just shove power, influence and money into the hands of the oligarchy and hope they give the 99% some crumbs. You have to choose. Either democracy or massive income and wealth inequality. We cant have a functioning political process when so much power over the political process lies in the hands of a tiny number of ultra wealthy oligarchs. Too many people choose oligarchy instead of democracy as they are perfectly fine with big money flooding the political system, hijacking the democratic process.
Its sad to see. And it also means poverty, inequality and despair will continue to skyrocket and more and more people will get increasingly desperate. We are seeing this in death rates among middle aged white men in rural America today.
This must have caused tears at CNN. They probably thought all his supporters ditched him.
