Instead of putting money towards fixing schools for poor American children in inner cities, we should give more money and protection to illegal immigrants that have criminal records.
I'm curious; what's the connection between this and being a sanctuary city? He would have been deported regardless; CT law states that convicted violent felons can be deported.

You're so wrong. Only 2% of illegals are picking any crops and for those jobs there are unlimited visas for legal, foreign pickers. Do you think when 98% of crop pickers are here on visas that the 2% illegals are saving us money? The growers only pocket the profits from them anyway.
