You cannot choose your sex. Any more than you can choose your race. You can mutilate your body with surgery and chemicals, and you can be a transvestite as far as clothing and makeup. But reality doesn't care about feelings or a political poll of the APA. If you have a penis and testicles, you are male, and you should urinate and defecate using the men's room, the room that is designed for the gender that has a penis, with plumbing fixtures specifically designed for reality.

Exactly, good euphemism. It reflects the sentiment of facing reality squarely. That is more of what we need. Start with reality, build your life from there. Self-mutilation and cross dressing will never lead to happiness or peace or integrity. When you start a war with reality, you lose. It's really that simple. You do exactly have to play the hand you are dealt when it comes to metaphysical primaries such as your gender, your race, or your species for that matter.

SMH...right because a child has developed the maturity level to make a life changing decision at that young of an age. Caitlyn Jenner was how old and is now undecided on whether his "change" was the right thing to do.

It worked for my relative. You obviously know nothing about Gender Dysphoria. There is no cure, so "playing the cards you're dealt" leads to depression and suicide.

The child doesn't make the decision, a psychiatrist (not psychologist) does. And FYI, psychiatrists are medical doctors
