It's reported, and on the video, that the kid said he was going to SUE him, not shoot him.

The kid defending the girl is grabbed and physically intimidated by the cop. Assault pure and simple. He dragged the kid around for a good gen minutes, THEN pulls out a gun and fires.

How anyone is defending the guy is beyond me.
And, yet, you have no problem condemning the cop

This is nothing.

I saw a few posters on here defending Michael Dunn, the man who fatally shot a 17-year old African-American for for playing his music too loud in a parking lot. A few others condemned Dunn, but said the kid was most likely a thug anyway, so no big loss.

There are some truly evil people who post here.

Well, I personally wouldn't disrespect someone's property, then tell them I was going to shoot them all with the hope that the person I was talking to was a rational adult who knew how to handle the situation properly.

You play stupid games and this is what happens. Right or wrong, it is going to happen eventually and if you don't realize that, that is on you.

I don't walk down the most dangerous places at night and then act all surprised I got mugged because mugging someone is the wrong thing to do.

I wouldn't have used a gun...but my baseball bat certainly will defend my property... but if I need my guns...I have then too

too many punks/gangs/ and criminals think its ok to cross lawns, break into house...and they think they can get away with it

how can you defend punks
That doesn't seem like a very good example to set for these children. Could you think of a way maybe you could show them some conflict resolution skills?

My son in law is director at a facility that treats {houses} foster kids. There is presently a 12 year old girl there who in two weeks has put 3 of the counselors in the hospital. Two females and a male. One with a broken nose, one a broken jaw..........the other, two broken ribs. He had her transported to a mental health facility and they made him take her back... they said they could not handle her.

Child you say............?

So that's a go on calling a 13 year old the c word? Hopefully her father doesn't come looking for you.

Well it was Officer Friendly that decided popping off a round was the best course of action...

No matter, I'm sure he'll do an outstanding work at his new job driving a Segway around a mall (hopefully without a weapon)
