I have no idea as I do not control that.

It also ended in 2007. I will get something for the previous years. Hoping for a buy out.

If you have pension investments, and you don't know where they're invested, I can almost guarantee they're invested in the stock market.

I don't doubt it is. I'm willing to pay my fair share for the corrupt practices. Others not so much.

Highly doubtful. Muni bonds don't yield a high enough return to meet pension obligations.

Just as an FYI, look at where the CalPERS (California Public Employee Retirement System) pension fund is invested... The ten largest holdings of CalPERS:
Quote:
"Can you name the biggest American investor? No, it's not Warren Buffett; as a matter of fact, it is not a person. It is CalPERS, the California Public Employees' Retirement System"...

Exxon
General Electric
Microsoft
Citigroup
Bank of America
Johnson & Johnson
Wal-Mart
Pfizer
Proctor & Gamble
JP Morgan Chase
The Ten Largest Holding of CalPERS, the Biggest U.S. Investor

And how many of those who will benefit from a CalPERS pension stupidly rail against "big oil," "big pharma," and "bankers." Idiots. The lot of them. /SMH

You're still benefiting from war profits and Wall Street/corporate profits. Don't be a hypocrite. Show some integrity and follow through on your disdain for those profits. Refuse to accept your pension checks.

If you're vested in a pension, you have access to an annual report and can look up pension assets at any time. Please do so. You'll see that you're directly profiting from that which you disdain.

My state is invested in the markets also. You are suggesting I move out of country because of that.

It's called falling down the rabbits hole.

No, I merely suggested that you eschew what you disdain. Don't be a hypocrite. Put your integrity where your mouth is. Refuse to accept your pension checks. Actions speak louder than words. Be who you claim to be.

I have. I am out of the markets and I reluctantly pay to cover for the ineptitude of others.

You have a choice to not accept your pension checks. That you will not make that choice tells us all that you don't actually believe or practice that which you state.
