2/17/16 - $19,932,504,874,101.46

So in one day, Trump increased the National Debt $16 billion dollars.
Actually the amount of debt increase = $5.9 billion

Congress is going to investigate Flynn and others and get a lot of help from the intelligence community who doesn't really like Trump. Flynn was fired after only been in his office for 24 days that doesn't look good because Trump would have never let him go so fast if the Russian connection was so weak. Now Trump is trying to blame it on Flynn if Flynn committed treason or some other crime is looking at long jail sentence he might roll over and say Trump has had contact with the Russians possibly a lot more. Flynn had classified clearances whatever he talked about could be his undoing. If Trump had a connection to Russian agents this will lead to impeachment. The GOP will get what they want Pence someone they can work with won't rock the boat business as usual.

Sorry. You're right.

I'll fix it.

Still a hell of an expensive trip to Mar-a-Lago.

I'll wait for reputable source to report on this if you don't mind.
The numbers come direct from treasurydirect.gov. What more do you need?

In other news, Priebus tried to pressure FBI Director James Comey into "helping scuttle the investigation into the Trump-Russia scandal, and Comey said no."

"We know this because the incident leaked to the media today. Based on who would have had knowledge of the incident, the leak almost certainly had to have come from Comey or his deputy or someone close to them in the FBI. And they’ve chosen to rat out Priebus for a reason."

Instead of keeping mum about it, "the FBI made a point of informing the American public today about Reince’s actions, which appear to have been illegal."

"If Trump told Priebus to lean on the FBI, or even if Trump was aware Priebus was doing it, then Trump is also guilty of obstruction of justice."

Why the FBI ratted out Reince Priebus for obstructing justice in Donald Trump's Russia scandal - Palmer Report

The plot thickens.

Do you mean will Trump be allowed to continue? Only our emotions will tell. How long can we allow so much unrest? If this is an issue we should be very very glad Hilary didn't make it. She has far more to be investigated for, nothing would have gotten done.

The ones who really suffer are the people out there trying to survive. Nothing gets done, everything is on hold, just another stalled president. What's new? Not much!

Not yet anyway but stay tuned....
The Republicans lowered the bar for impeachment to the point that Trump already meets the criteria having lied under oath multiple times. He assumes the law does not apply in his case...ever. Clinton was backed into a corner and perjured himself but Trump lies about everything even if he doesn't have to. He has a lot of litigation still pending and more to come so he'll be committing perjury in the legal sense while in office....if not already just in the past month. Trump would rather resign than be impeached, much like Nixon, so there will be a trap-door opening and he will slip away unscathed -- in his mind. Once he loses his usefulness to Bannon and Pence he will be on borrowed time. Eventually there will be some sort of dust-up in the administration, probably with his kids on one side and Bannon and Pence on the other but until then they will milk him like a cow. Apparently Trump will sign anything that they put in front of him.

Bannon and Priebus are in a position of strength since they have no moral compass, are willing to do anything they please, can't be reined in by congress, and have Trump dancing like a marionette. Trump's family has a lot to lose in this train wreck so they have a lower tolerance for the unbridled despotism that the Bannon camp would like to see. The Trump brand is tied to this administration and they are already starting to squirm. Multiple investigations and allegations regarding Putin and Russian intervention as well as growing public opposition will add to the stress and lead to more lies...triggering more of the same.
