Really? I'll have to tell my niece, who is a dyed in the wool Trump supporter and goes through Starbucks coffee like it was water.

Or the Trump supporters that live in Georgia, where I live. Starbucks is still doing good business, even in places like local, independent coffee shops. Very often, the persons who go to Starbucks will also go to the local chains.

The coffee giant's consumer perception levels have fallen by two-thirds since late January, according to YouGov BrandIndex.

The perception tracker measures if respondents have "heard anything about the brand in the last two weeks, through advertising, news or word of mouth, was it positive or negative." In Starbucks' case, perception is still overall positive, but significantly lower than it was prior to CEO Howard Schultz published a public letter outlining the company's plans to give refugees jobs.

Well if Schultz will follow through on what he says, we will see what happens.
I guess nobody wants plastic explosives with their coffee.

I wonder how long it will be, before one of the refugees goes all Jihadist on customers.

Really?

Starbucks had $4.2 billion in global operating income in 2016, so where did you get $21 billion from?

Employees never understand what gross revenues and net profits is.
That is why they always fail trying to go out on their own, without some business sense/education.

Well, at least you're accurate. Starbucks is a multinational company. Some people in the USA boycotting Starbucks won't stop Starbucks from making billions. If a store isn't making money, they will just shut down that store. The Seattle-based company is drawing billions from around the world.
