I wouldn't know. For all of those insinuating that Crist is divorcing because he's gay, the problem I have with such talk is that its almost exclusively limited to fit, handsome/attractive men. You don't really expect to hear some, without evidence, cry that Steve Bannon or Danny Devito or Michael Moore are gay. I don't know . . . it seems that some get off by fantasizing about attractive/fit guys getting it on with other men
Charlie Crist is a Republican turned Democrat . He won a seat in Nov 2016 in the US House for the Clearwater/St Pete Florida area. He was well liked as a Republican Governor of Florida by people on all sides of the isle. He's an old style kind of politician that listens to his constituents.
At one time he was a rising star in the GOP. He was a top contender for John McCain's VP pick but McCain picked Sara Palin instead.
In 2010 Charlie Crist ran for US Senate against Marco Rubio but lost.

Oh please!
Go down to Tampa, FL; Charlie Crist being gay is only slightly larger secret than Jim Nabors, Rock Hudson, John Travolta and Tom Cruise. In short almost everyone knows about it including many died in the wool local conservative republicans.
Florida politics is tricky. Many see things like South Beach/Miami and assume the entire state is liberal, which it certainly is not. Proof of this was seen last November when the state went for His Orangeness.
The first marriage barely lasted one year (1979 to 1980), and the second began in 2008 ironically just before Mr. Crist launched an unsuccessful bid for a senate seat being vacated by Mel Martinez. Macro Rubio won that race. Mr. Crist attempted to run for governor again in 2014 and lost to incumbent Rick Scott. The guy switched parties (again) to run as a Democrat and won the 13th congressional district.
With all this new gay "equality" and "inclusion" running around (especially on the DNC/left) lounges wagging in Florida and elsewhere the Rep. Crist doesn't need the wife any longer, so that is that. Long as the guy isn't caught in some restroom or bushes with a young boy or man half his age it is likely no one in his district or DNC gives a rat's bottom what Mr. Crist does in his private life.
Marriage was probably never consummated and the lady found someone else.
Asked for dirt/comments at the time, Crist's first ex-wife stated she would say nothing at the time; but wait for her memoirs in ten years or so. People are still waiting....
Besides don't think "consummation" is a huge deal any longer. I mean with same sex marriage how does one prove a "husband" or even better "wife" in such a union was bedded by their partner?

Your rant aside, I stand by what I wrote before.
