Kind of funny how a US president putting US citizens and their livelihood ahead of non-citizens is seen as such a tragedy. How many job openings does that potentially keep for US citizens? And by reducing an excess supply, how much does such a move bump up demand, and therefore pay, for US citizens?
It is really galling to see H1-Bs holding jobs when experienced Americans in those same fields are going without work.
I have no sympathy for H1-Bs. They knew that they signed up for a temporary work visa. Yet so many of them feel entitled to a green card.
What's wrong with them staying in India and working towards making it a better country?
