The voting took place in Atlanta - 435 members voted.

The Establishment Candidate won. This should surprise nobody.
They are now calling for a "win" by acclamation to show 'unity'.

There won't be any "unity". The Sanders coalition loses again to the Clinton Establishment Wing.

How about that? Maybe there's some hope for Democrats after all. The upcoming civil war should be short, brutal and highly entertaining.

The party doesn't have enough power to divide itself right now. And Ellison is vice chair.

Seems smart. Ellison seems like an extremist

Ellison is deputy chair, a sort of honorary position that I don't think exists. They will elect a deputy chair.

I'll take Perez. He's speaking now and he's what we need right now more than someone who is extreme. Most Dems are somewhere in the middle, not at the extreme. Same with Repubs. The middle. If, in the future, we need to move to the left, maybe we can, but to win, we have to be realistic and move toward the middle ground.

Ellison is pro-worker and against the TPP. Perez is pro-corporate and supports the TPP. The establishment in the DNC is very strong.

Trump wins re-election. The (D)'s just doubled down on failure.

Yeah....I'd say so. And so now I changed my mind about re-registering as a Democrat. Now the only way the Democrats are going to get elected is if the economy crashes under Trump. They just.....don't learn. They didn't get the hint WHY Sanders was so popular, and I bet many of those Sanders voters crossed over for Trump
