Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump
I will not be attending the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner this year. Please wish everyone well and have a great evening!

Trump dumped them before they dumped him. No news here.

But are the comments wrong though?

No. Time to open your eyes and see the daylight.

Trump is a petulant little kid who cries and pouts when he doesn't get his way and he is showing it now.

It's very simple. Trump is too thin skinned of an egomaniac to handle this.

The press would use this opportunity not for a little ribbing but as an attack platform.

Having the Trump/press feud helps nobody. Since they can't play nice together, they should be separated as much as possible while they get over it.
Too egomaniac to handle this?

You got to be kidding me.

Thankfully he's dealing with real issues not playing politician for our entertainment while the country collapses around us. I'm not laughing.

Go Donald Trump!

He's not wasting taxpayers time with something trivial.

Sorry that you can't see it.

They'll have more fun without Trump.

It's really a dinner to celebrate freedom of the press and real journalism.

Not that Breitbart crap.

How could you make fun of Pence? He's the dullest politician in history. What a discouraging day that would be for SNL and all comedians, if he took over the office.

Remember what a hoot that banquet was, before Al Franken became a senator and was the host of the show? That was comedy at its highest level. Most or maybe all presidents and many other politicians, since its inception, have bravely withstood the jibes they received there, but not this time. Trump is the first who doesn't have what it takes to laugh at himself. Or maybe he just recognizes that there's nothing at all humorous about him and what he plans to do to this country.
