Just heard fox news saying trump isn't going because they 'roast' the prez during it, and he didn't think he would get "the respect he deserves".... yeah, okayyyy
We have a president who simply can't get along with anyone who challenges him in the slightest. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that he's not attending.
Besides, he's a humorless, insecure pig, so even if he did attend, there's absolutely no way he'd be able to tolerate - let alone laugh - at any jokes made about him.
Sometimes people do things out of respect for tradition, without regard for personal gain. I guess I shouldn't expect Trump or many of his supporters to understand this.
