He is thin skinned. We saw it before the election. He ends up in petty vendettas a bit too often.
Would the press have unfairly attacked him no matter what? Yes, but that doesn't change his character.
He's just not a likable guy. He's a bit of a prick.
That said, I'm pretty optimistic now about what changes he may make as POTUS.
Trump explained it this way and I get it. Trump said when I am attacked I will attack back. He kept his word and attacked back. I loved Trump,he is not a push over,he kept his word. They got what they dished out,every one of them. The media never made a big deal of it when Trump was attacked over and over. They make a huge deal when Trump attacked back. There was a few who didn't attack Trump. Huckabee was one of them. McCain still attacks Trump.Jealousy drives McCain.. Trump actually looked at Mitt Romney and invited him in a cordial way. If Trump was thin skinned he never would have spoken to Mitt.
In the battle between Trump and the media, Trump is losing. It just makes him look bad. He looks like Nixon and his problems with the press and of course we all know about Nixon - delusional, paranoid, and disgraced.
The WH Correspondents' dinner is where the invitees show off their sharp wits, ability to set aside differences and have an evening of fun. Trump will fail on all those accounts. He would come off looking like an old sour puss, pouting and glowering over in the corner.
And pissing in his pants. Then taking to twitter with 5th grade language to whine ("smart people mean, bad, make me sad").
Hannity isn't a journalist, a reporter or a WH correspondent.
Hannity is a gas bag and a demagogue who is as relevant as a 0 to the left of a decimal point.
If you think that those "so-called" correspondents are anywhere near honest, american patriots, who are just trying to provide honest information to the best of their abilities, your IQ might be somewhere near where you judge Hannitys relevance to be. They have an agenda, it is generally speaking a very liberal, globalist, in favor of huge immigration, welfare, pro LGBTQ up the whazoo and hate everything about anyone who is conservative or patriotic or christian.

No, he's nowhere near as cute, smart, and talented as Shirley Temple (see "The Little Colonel", Fox Studios, 1934). He probably comes close to the Little Colonel's quick temper, however (not to mention that of old Colonel Lloyd, as portrayed by Lionel Barrymore).
