He was a tRump supporter during the campaign, but nice to see he puts America first in light of the Russian connections. He also is honestly saying that Sessions can't be trusted to be impartial.

Oh, get off of that Hillary bs, we are talking about today and Trump here. And, this is a Republican calling for this, not a Democrat. Get your facts straight.

GOP Rep. Darrell Issa Says Special Prosecutor Needed in Russia Probe - NBC News

While we've all been distracted with Muslim travel bans, press bans, Kellyanne Conway becoming a persona non grata, Trump tweeting about "fake news" and yammering about mythical lines and invisible friends... Republican Congressman Darrell Issa, one of the most "nakedly partisan Republicans in Congress," has jumped ship.

Priebus was caught obstructing justice by unsuccessfully pressuring the FBI over the Trump-Russia investigation. This was, of course, promptly leaked.

Republican Senator Susan Collins of Maine is leading the charge for the Senate Intelligence Committee to fully investigate the Trump-Russia business, calling for everything from hauling in Flynn for questioning, to subpoenaing Trump’s tax returns if necessary.

Before long, Democrats will have to stand aside so they are not crushed in the stampede of Republicans waving their wee flag lapel pins.

Feels like the calm before the storm.

Next they will be blaming George Washington for all these problems.

Sorry of you don't like to be reminded about the past history.

Heck, we SILL have libs commenting on W. Bush and I'd bet you NEVER criticized any of them.

Typical liberal hypocrite.

If you don't like it, DON'T read it.

YOU need to get your facts straight.

I made NO mention of who was doing it.

Congress gets back to work today after 10 days of Town Halls and strategy meetings.

In addition to Issa openly calling for a special prosecutor to investigate the growing Trump-Russian scandal, Republican Senator Collins is calling for a full investigation by the Senate Intelligence Committee.

On Tuesday, the Republican-dominated House Judiciary Committee is expected to vote on the House Democrats’ Resolution for a formal inquiry into the the potential ethical and legal violations committed by Trump with regard to contacts, communications, and financial transactions with Russia.

House Judiciary Committee is also expected to reject calls to examine evidence of Trump’s potential violations of the Emoluments Clause of the U.S. Constitution.

On Tuesday, House Republicans Will Betray Their Oaths, Their Country, And The American People.

Tuesday evening, Trump will address Congress and we will all get to watch which Republicans are willing to be caught on camera clapping and cheering for Trump.

On Wednesday, the new and improved Muslim travel ban is scheduled to be unveiled, which ought to provide some amount of diversion for Monday and Tuesday's disasters.

I didn't vote for Trump, I voted for Gary Johnson BUT... seeing how the establishment politicians on both the left AND the right are angry because their, less than 20% approval rated, "business as usual" nonsense may well come to an end... I am more and more in favor of most of what President Trump is doing.

Drain the swamp completely. A majority of both the left AND the right should be drained from that cesspool known as Congress and Washington DC in general. Cut the federal government to 25% of what it is now. Cut federal laws and regulations to 10% of what they are now. Cut, cut... CUT!!!

this supposed russian connection is rubbish, and the only reason it is even in the news is because hillary cried the russians cost me the election. and since trump is working to cut the federal governments power and give it back to the states, where it belongs, the establishment in washington is fighting back to hold onto that power, so the establishment congressional members on both sides are screaming about the russians.

so lets stop with the russians crap, its a non starter.
