All they ended up doing was murdering some women and children, missing the target of the raid and getting a SEAL killed.
Obama didn't press go because of the lack of intelligence. Trump pressed go because "Obama didn't do it durrr". Trump failed here.
They didn't "murder" anyone. That's a really heinous lie to spread. The ISIS fighters had been tipped off ahead of time to the raid (I hope we find out by whom and hang that person), so they sent women fighters into the village. When the fighting broke out, they were combatants and effectively doubled the size of the ISIS force the SEALS expected to encounter. The ISIS fighters also used the actual women and children of the village as human shields when the firefight started. To claim the SEALS "murdered" women and children, when they were ambushed by ISIS fighters using them as human shields is disgusting. That really crosses the line.
Three lies in a row. It's sad that people like you post this stuff and the gullible will believe it.
1) The mission was authorized under the Obama admin..
No , the mission was not authorized by the Obama admin, that's why it didn't happen under Obama and why they needed Trump's authorization. Your "Obama plan" was at least a month old, Trump got a more recent/up to date plan.
Trump is the Commander in Chief. He holds total responsibility for every action of every person in the DOD, regardless of whether he gave the order or not. In this case, I suspect Trump was fully aware that this was going to take place - but it does not matter. He signed up for this tour of duty, and we fully expect him to behave with honor and integrity. That means that he takes the sword for his soldiers, every time, no equivocation, no hesitation. I cannot imagine what it must be like for our honored military leaders to report to a commander like Trump. I truly feel for them.
This is it.
He's the Commander in Chief. He has the responsibility. Buck stops with him.
That he should try to worm his way out of it is despicable.

Absolutely false. Not sure if you're intentionally lying, or if you're just ignorant to the facts? The generals who planned this mission under Obama told Obama they wanted to wait for the next moonless night so they would have the advantage of darkness. Because of the transition of power that night did not fall until Trump took office.

Reports have women and children running away with our soldiers firing at them as they ran from the carnage.
That the Seals got their asses handed to them by Yemeni woman must be humiliating.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Looks like someone totally forgot about the screw-ups that occurred last go-round.
Trying to blame his generals for an mission he alone had the power to authorize.
These operation do not simply show up on the Presidents desk. They are developed from intelligence and he is presented with ones they deem worthy of approval given the risk involved. For example when Obama was given the briefing on the Bin Laden raid he was told there was about 50/50 chance it was Bin Laden because they never positively identified Bin Laden as being there. Such a plan would have never made it to his desk but in this case it did because of the target. He took a very big risk, he gambled and won.
Quote:
A mission the previous administration rejected because it was too risky.
It was not rejected by the Obama administration, they did not authorize the operation because it was scheduled for the next full moon under the Trump administration.

A mission that yielded nothing in the way of useful intel.
There is only a handful of people that know that information and you aren't one of them.

"The approval of the Yakla raid did not follow the rigorous procedure used during the administrations of George W. Bush and Barack Obama, which involved a Situation Room meeting that detailed the operational plan, operational goals, a risk assessment (to both U.S. personnel and civilians), and a legal assessment of the operation. Instead, the raid was approved over dinner conversations between Trump, his son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner, his special adviser Stephen Bannon, and Defense Secretary Jim Mattis.[24] Mattis, along with General Joseph Dunford, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, presented the plan; then-National Security Advisor Michael Flynn was also at the dinner.[25]
The decision did not go through the normal National Security Council (NSC) channels, through which heads or deputy heads of all agencies with a stake in the operation would be consulted.[25] U.S. military officials stated that the assault went forth "without sufficient intelligence, ground support, or adequate backup preparations."[26]
