It is terrifying. I just saw this idiot of a president announce VOICE, literally taking pages from Nazi Germany, and the *******s at CNN plaster pro-Trump propaganda all over their front page because he LOOKED Presidential.
Call it an "easily repeatable phrase", but I honestly, and truly believe that this country is screwed and nothing other than the rise of a literal dictator can shake this ignorant population into waking up. What the hell are people doing? We just saw two months of a heaping trash fire of a presidency actively try to wedge divides between people and pass unconstitutional drivel. This president is corrupt, with easily verifiable ties to a foreign nation that has for decades tried to influence the country's most influential positions by illicit means. He's an international embarrassment every single day his swamp ass is on that chair in the Oval Office. And today, even his biggest detractors are piling praise onto his lap for standing on a podium and reading. They're praising the same speech in which he announced VOICE as "presidential".

I could've seen us a way out of it had there been unrelenting, sustained opposition to his bullcrap and have the population and the press cut through the bullcrap for 2 years, and maybe, MAYBE in 2018 people would've woken up to reality to vote enough Democrats into office to begin a formal impeachment process. Maybe. But it's not gonna happen for the same reason you said. This was never a change of heart from the media, all they wanted was a boom-bust cycle, and this entire time this has just been another ****ty narrative they pushed just to turn it around and push the other way for ratings on both sides. It's all kinds of disgusting, the notion that they're doing this with this presidency that's pushing this agenda is disgusting.

2. dictators come from when you make the government big... ie liberalism
3. we have a problem in this country with ILLEGAL immigrants... not people who come here legally

Six months from now: "He's 72 times worse than Hitler."
Two years from now: "He's four-thousand, seven hundred sixty three times worse than Hitler."
Next Presidential campaign: "He's four trillion, five hundred fifty million, seven-hundred seventy two thousand, four hundred and sixty one times worse than Hitler."

Hitler murdered 13 million people. Trump has not done that. The Liberal politics is failing and some how putting the American People first is a crazy idea.
You should probably listen to what Democrats actually say, and have a two-way discussion with THEM to understand their position, rather than being lazy and having Rush Limbaugh or some other pundit tell you their interpretation.

No it is Liberals yourself who do not want the Best for this country. These kind of post make the op not relative to solving our countries issues. Trump speech reached out o both sides and he encouraged unity instead of a divided Gov. What is wrong with Americans First!

I like what the OP says, I agree to some degree... to me you are simply ignoring the reality of creating a special department to target illegals even more.
I can understand the POV on illegals committing crime.
I just feel that too much focus is being put on them and that it is being done for political gain and to ignite hysteria with the public.
I think too many people are unaware of domestic terrorists as well. We see all this stuff about "radical Islamists" yet nothing about the growing white nationalist/separatist movements, who these people are, and what crimes they have committed or that law enforcement has stopped.
IMO this would show how crime is not centered in this country on any specific group that we should hold under the eye of a spotlight moreso than others.
Putting up with VOICE website means attention on domestic terrorists groups is being diminished and IMO terrorism both foreign and domestic are areas that we, as citizens should know about.
Recently all the talk about the fake "Bowling Green massacre" caused a media outlet that I frequent to speak about a thwarted plot to kill Jews and blacks in Ohio and Michigan. It was based in Bowling Green, Ohio. I live about 40 miles from this small city. The person who was involved in the plot to kill people in government offices and in the NAACP. He had addresses of people he was going to kill.
I know people who are in the NAACP in both Michigan and Ohio, some high up members who may have been on this man's list. This plot occurred within an hour of where I live. This guy worked at a store in a local mall in this area and IMO it was something that we should have known about here. I have yet to see any information to see if he was associated with any extremist groups or if other people knew of his plot or were involved. This man is set to get out of prison next year. That is more scary to me than an illegal immigrant since we don't have many of them in this area.
Also, a few years ago a guy drove to my area from Indiana and attacked a mosque here. I remember when that occurred as it was on the local news. Luckily no one was killed.
Both of these guys were similar to Dylan Roof IMO. This sort of extremism and lone wolf attackers is growing and IMO too much focus on Muslims and illegals is serving to take the focus off of them.
I want to know about criminal alien immigrants. I also want to know about criminal, extremist domestic terrorists.

I'm terrified of this Voice program. It's obviously a form of legalized discrimination. What's stopping racist haters from putting completely innocent people on this list. The odds are extremely high that white supremacists and racists are going to use this to their advantage. The next step is concentration camps, but then again we have jail cells for that. Great format to legally discriminate against minorities.

The "reality of a specific department targeting illegals" is exactly what so many of us want! Don't you get that? We don't want millions of illegals living here with impunity. The violent ones who are here continuing to break the law are even worse! Track them down and send them home!
