Maybe Nostradamus was right that one Muslim in the Middle East could even rise to finally invade the Europe, along with bringing the terror to human kind.
Maybe, but from a POC view, the left has given Christianity a furious political beating over the years. Hell, Obama went after the Little Sister of the Poor. Islam is the left's favored religion and they're pouring into America. My son's high school is teaching the Koran, imagine how the left would react if they tried that with the bible.
I personally believe there are many on the left who would love to see Christianity shut down, even if it means using Islam to do it. It doesn't make any sense, I know, but that's the problem with modern liberalism. It's a belief system that's wandered off somewhere.
Ironic that the left is pro-Islam but it will be Islam that will one day kill off the left and all their so called "progressive" ideals and the rights they've fought for, i.e. women's, LGBTQ, etc.
Islam is fundamentally and diametrically opposite of the western liberal and progressive ideas.
The link talks about a perception of over estimate of the Muslim population in the US. It refers to a pattern where US people believe the Muslim population in the US stood at 17%, rather than 1% which is projected to grow to 2.1% by 2050.
As far as Europe goes, the highest consentration of Muslim population is in Russia.
The 30 Year War in Europe was a religious Civil War between Christians, Catholics vs Protestants.
Politicians and War Lords have used religion as a tool to make land and asset grabs since forever.
