It was clearly a lie.

He never answered the question that was asked but did explain, with that wee elfin grin of his, that he was part of the campaign but that no, he didn't communicate with the Russians.

Never said anything about how though he met with the Russian Ambassador, they didn't communicate about the election.

It is simply not credible that Sessions and the Ambassador would not have discussed the election that was hot and heavy at that point, with lots being published about Russian interference.

Trump supporters may believe that it was all on the up and up, but the rest of the world just doesn't.

maybe they were discussing vodka, lap dancers and hockey,,,,,who gives a rat's a$$.....unless you tell me what law was broken maybe I can understand the left Hysteria since Election night.

We have the Russian Embassy in the D.C., the Russian ambassador lives in D.C. with the swamp with the other 150 plus embassies of other countries in D.C., of course everybody is going to talk to each other, DUH!

What is the crime again?

Democrats need to stand on Removing this man.. and DO NOT BACK OFF.... stop with the play nice and let Republican hoodwinking you into going passive and doing nothing.
STAND UP and stop wasting our vote by backing off on stuff. NO MORE!!!!

Get this man out of there and do it now!!!

Democrats need to be canvasing the country right this moment, getting the truth out. !!! Let people know the real truth about these Republican and their system.. Let the people know how the Republican pandered and fell right in line with their lips glued to Trumps butt. Even after he talked about them as if they are trash... they will support anything that seeks to strip the people of benefits and services and give the wealthy a tax break... Their devotion to Trump proves that point.

They have rubber stamped every person Trump put up and none of them are qualified even in the least of ways to do anything except damage and destroy departments and divisions.

and maybe the KFC and Mcdonalds workers in D.C. met the Russian ambassador when he went out for a bite to eat ,,,,,, the freakin' Russian embassy is in D.C. and the Russian ambassador lives in D.C. with many others ambassadors of the world.....I didn't know speaking with the Russian ambassador was an illegal act under the law.....he probally goes to the mall, movies, concerts, operas and sports games in the U.S. but its illegal to talk to him?

This is how silly and hysterical the left has become since election night.....now anybody Russian is the boogey man.

Some of you conservatives lack so much integrity it's amazing to even consider yourself a patriot. A lie is a lie period. There is no, "he wasn't being specific, he meant this, etc..."...

Republicans and Democrats alike are increasingly asking for an independent investigation. Further suggestions, from many people, have been that Trump campaign affiliates conspired with Russia in its efforts. It's that latter issue which is the most serious of the allegations continually raised. Then too, there's the report - largely verified if I've been reading correctly - that the Russians have a dosisier on the President with information that may be embarrassing or point to illegal behavior. Lots of smoke, allegations and few proveable - at this time - charges of any sort.

good luck with that.....because the context of the question from Al Franken was a CNN report that was debunked as false. Franken use the CNN report as the context of the question and that report from CNN turned our to be false. Sessions answered truthful about the CNN report that Franken used for his questions......good luck in prosecuting the AG on perjury on a CNN report that turned to be fake news.

again you can't take the answer out of context with the topic of the question which was the CNN report.

you know what makes all of us clueless? the real bombshell and scandal is NOT the Russians.....its the NSA spying on all Americans and the world including our allies and the phone records and conversations of the PM of Germany and other leaders under Obama.......you can't be outrage that Russia and other countries are spying on us when the NSA does the same thing at a higher scale and volume.

Its sad that the media and both parties in our government refuse to speak about that and make a huge hysteria about the Russians.

I think the Obama administration should be investigated and congress for allowing the NSA this much power and spying on all Americans......that should be the real scandal....not that the DNC was hacked and that the Russians gave it to Wikileaks in which wikileaks denies it came from the Russian.....and as of right now, I tend to believe Wikileaks since our intel has a long history of lying and violating our rights in secrecy.

They might be "Impotent." Hard to say. But I don't think they are investigating that.

You really ought to try Google. You'll be surprised at how much information you can track down.

Fingers crossed.
