Yes indeed. NK made fools out of Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter who represented the Clinton Administration. They did it again with Bill Richardson and NK. and so on and so on.

We are still at war with North Korea. We have had a "cease fire" for the last 60 or so years.

........UM........we have been having "diplomatic talks" with North Korea since 1953...........What is your definition of "doesn't work"?

An exhaustive new U.N. report documents North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un’s smuggling of nuclear materials, cash and ammunition through an elaborate underground web of foreign enablers that has let him advance his nuclear program and gain hard currency for the country that is supposed to be cut off by biting U.N. and U.S. sanctions.

Wouldn't you think that China would have put them out of business long ago, considering that this threat is in their backyard and could turn on them at any time?

Despite all the talk being bandied about, I seriously doubt China wants to engage us in war.
China is no more responsible for North Korea's actions, than the US is responsible for Britain's. China can agree to military action via the UN Security Council, so whatever defense treaties exist between China and North Korea are irrelevant.
