It's not like the collapse of the Democratic party happened overnight. The GOP began making serious inroads in 2010 but Democrats were too invested in Obama to admit to what was happening. As long as the public perceives Trump is working for them the GOP will be dominant come 2018 elections. That's why I'm not too worried about Obama's "comeback". He was always about himself and his ego and never lifted a finger to help state Democrats.

O'Reilly is a gasbag with no intellectual gravitas--why does his opinion on a party he despises matter?

There's probably nothing funnier on the internet than watching conservatives laugh at how liberals make references to CNN.........but then watch those same conservatives refer to Fox News while trying to make a point.

lol. He is definitely a gasbag. But he is also a very smart, intuitive man who really does have a tight grasp on politics. I don't like him, but I can't discount his intelligence just because I don't like him.

What IS the ideology of the Democrat Party these days?

The tea party, formed in 2004, had clearly defined core beliefs. Many of these core beliefs will be realized by the election of Trump.

The Democrat Party core beliefs? RESIST. That is their message to fellow Democrats? That is a call to action only idiots can get behind. RESIST means NOTHING other than resist: to exert force in opposition.

Should be easy to instantly prove what he says is wrong if you are correct.

I take note that you attack the messenger however instead of the message.

This speaks for itself.

The democrats don't have an ideology so much as they have a strategy. Their strategy is to form a coalition of disgruntled demographics that will create an unstoppable voting block and everything they do is to achieve those ends. Ideology is incidental to that and can be more cohesively defined later.
