Seems the White House and bank are telling different stories.
The bank maintained the meeting "was held as part of a new business strategy and was conducted with Kushner in his role as the head of his family’s real estate business."
WH insists the meeting was "unrelated to business and was one of many diplomatic encounters the soon-to-be presidential adviser was holding ahead of Donald Trump’s inauguration."
Just out of curiosity, were Kushner, Flynn, Sessions, etc. holding this many meetings with envoys from Canada, Mexico, China, India, Pakistan, UK, Germany, France, ... as well?

oh gee, a meeting in december with the russians. corect me if ai am wrong but that was AFTER the election, and not unusual for incoming president staffers to meet with foreign dignitaries. thread fail.
In fact, it would have been wrong of them to NOT meet with foreign dignitaries in anticipation of the new adminstration.
