Word is that WH was furious that Sessions partially recused himself, especially Steverino. WH knows they are going to NEED an AG for all the investigations coming down the pike, not just those post-inauguration.
Maybe Sessions is getting the axe?? Or just a trip to the woodshed??
It is odd to fly down Sessions on a Saturday night, when tRump will be back in DC on Monday morning.
Perhaps to hold his hand while Trump watches SNL. But really, it would be a dramatic plot twist if Sessions resigned on his own accord, that would indeed be the beginning of the rat line.
