it is my understanding that Trump refused to take a salary for being president. moreover, liberals on here had no problem with OBama going on vacation all the time.

FACTS - Obama did not go on vacation *all the time.* In fact he went on vacation less days than Bush did.
Obama took about 200 days, GW took 879, Bill Clinton took 174, Ronald Reagan took 390, Jimmy Carter took the least with only 79 days.
Also, taxpayers pay the salaries of White House staffers and Secret Service agents whether the president stays in Washington or not, so a presidential vacation does not significantly increase personnel costs, but the first family pays for its own lodging and meals when vacationing. All of these vacations are working vacations in reality.

He has already spent his salary and some. Trump has spend more money going to Florida the last few weeks then Obama spent on vacation for one year.

First, he did NOT double the national debt. He added about 70% to it.
Note: The day Ronald Reagan was sworn in - the national debt was 934 billion. The day he left office the debt was 2. 697 trillion. Almost TRIPLE. Bush 41 added over 80% and Bush 43 added 110%.
Why is only Obama's debt a problem and not Reagan's or the Bush's.

So true. Also, I don't know why Trump supporters keep bringing up the $400,000 salary. Don't they realize he probably made several times more in just one deal after he won the election? Does anyone really think the billionaires in Dubai would be so eager to put his name in front of a golf resort if he lost? In fact, since the Mar-a-Lago membership doubled from $100,000 to $200,000 only 4 memberships is an increase of $400,000. Doesn't this go to the Trump Organization?
OTOH, President Obama won $1.4 million when he was awarded the Nobel Peace Price and donated the entire amount to charity so there would be no conflict of interest. I keep hearing about how Trump gave up his salary, but nobody seems to mention this.
