IF there is evidence, then yes. But no, the country does not have to chase every lie Trump creates as a distraction to his own problems if there is no evidence of such a thing.

Trump is unhinged. I didnt vote for him or HC, but had hopes for some conservative leadership and action from Trump. But each day it appears more and more as if we have elected a mentally unhinged person to run our country.

At this point it about equal to the evidence presented by the Left that Russia interfered in the election.

if the fisa court approved the wiretap, then you are right no felony. however it has been noted that the fisa court TURNED DOWN the obama request, TWICE. so if there was a wiretap, then it is a felony.

impeached for what? and prosecuted for what? that is your wet dream at this point, and there is NO criminal activity in trumps tweets.

But because (like everyone has known for the past 75 years) the Russians are ALWAYS tapped.

Guess what that means, Donny-boy.

No doubt you'll make up a story about the Russians colluding with Trump. All the while ignoring the fact that hillary colluded with the DNC to influence an election.
Two things we know about the left. They are hypocrites and they lost.
Get over it.

Unhinged? The media is unhinged. Trump is simply fighting back. He HAD to do this: the media was slowly drip-drip-drip trying to destroy him and his cabinet. He realized he'll need to fight back and that means breaking an unwritten rule where Presidents pretty much leave previous Presidents alone, so be it.

I think Trump is a very, very smart President. True, sometimes he's a bit too fast in tweeting but the media is the real unhinged party here.

Right, because only the democrats get to accuse people. No one can do the same to the democrats because as we know, the democrats are holy.

Why should congress spend time and money to pander to the demented demands of a crazy person? There is NO evidence that Obama was somehow involved in some effort to wiretap Trump, where does congress go with an investigation like that? WTF is wrong with simply asking Trump why he doesn't demand to see the warrant as is his right? Why isn't he telling us what evidence he relied on to make such an outrageous allegation.?

At this point it looks like Trump allies are trying to turn this thing into some kind of logical fallacy where Obama is going to be tasked with proving something for which there is absolutely no evidence he ever did.

I read Reuters news and the BBC--they're both available free, online. I think Reuters is very middle of the road. If I want to watch a bit to the left, I'll watch some CNN on tv. The right wingers should try Reuters--maybe seeing middle of the road could bring us all together. Some right wingers watch far right tv shows that most people never even heard of, apparently. Same as Breithart is far right and I had never even heard of it.

Seems like Trump is being delusion on weekends when he's by himself in Florida, away from his advisers. And he watches Breithart--whatever it is, some extreme right crazy news. He's not doing himself any favors watching that stuff.

You keep assuming that politics is/was the reason for the (so far) alleged wiretap.

Maybe it wasn't politics at all. Maybe it was a crime they were pursuing. For instance - and this is a guess on my part - illegal cash transfers.
