You do realize that even Republicans are saying this is a no win situation for your Daddy. If it's false then he's made a grave and unprecedented blunder that will most likely take down his administration. If it's true then it means the DOJ felt that there was enough evidence of wrongdoing by Trumps campaign that they took it to an independent federal judge who was appointed by a republican head of the Supreme Court, who agreed with the FBI and DOJ. Which option is better in your eyes???
It's getting weirder every moment -- could these FISA documents that major media has covered showing there WAS a warrant approval in October be fakes? Because why would Comey come out and say there was no tapping of Trump when only the FBI can issue FISA warrants?

FBI DOES NOT issue FISA warrants. The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court issues FISA warrants.
The FBI can apply for such a warrant. So can any other federal law enforcement or intelligence agency.
In practice, the FBI and the NSA are the most frequent applicants for the warrants.
I am not sure why Trump supporters vote or take part in elections. Many of them have such an extreme distrust of government they won't believe anything unless it comes from their own appointed oracle. They don't (or can't) believe Obama ,Comey, or the FBI or any intelligence (or intelligent) sources.
