Known Trump associates, staffers or campaign surrogates with Russian ties: Manafort, Flynn, Tillerson, Page, Stone, Ross, Cohen, and Sater
Russians with financial, business or political ties to Trump or his people: Kislyak, Ryabkov, Rybolovlev, Kilimnik, Arif, Millian, and Tokhtakhounov
Arif founded Bayrock, a real estate firm. Felix Sater joined the company. $2 billion of Russian oligarch money flowed through Bayrock to Trump to fund various projects. Bayrock is currently being sued for fraud and money laundering (source: Forbes).
The Trump-Russia Scandal is more than hacking during the election: it involves a large-scale mafia-like government corruption and money laundering scheme. The truth will come out.
There's two big issues here. First, Trump is figuring that enough of his sycophants will support any charges he makes. So all he has to do is periodically rattle their chains and gain an advantage. It's a false gain, but it has worked for him, previously. He'll keep doing it, until it doesn't work any longer. But the mindless and eventually, self-destructive loyalty of his mob, should not be underestimated. Always remember, that in the through-the-looking-glass, backwards world where they live, he is king.
Also, if you consider all the secret deals he's made and the lies he's told, that would drive anyone crazy, worrying about when they'd be discovered and made known to everyone. It's a wonder he hasn't had a full melt-down in public, already. It's a good thing for him, that he has the medium of twitter, to express his outbursts in writing and to temporarily relieve the pressure on his brain. If he was only able to do it verbally, before a camera, can you just imagine?

Thanks for the compliment about my writing skills. In part, I was inspired by the nonsense I've been hearing from you.
Monday morning headline: Trump to Comey: You're Fired!
And to think, Comey was Trump's champion just a few short months ago...
Our president is a foot-stomping, temper-tantrum-throwing toddler. He just pulls this garbage out of thin air, throws it to his base, and they fall all over it. It never occurs to them that perhaps evidence might be needed. Nope. Whatever that lunatic says they take as the gospel truth. And it doesn't matter how many times he lies, it seems to make no difference to them. It also seems to make no difference to them that he's using them, since he knows very well that they worship him as one might worship a cult leader and will not question him. Just look at the responses so far: nothing but deflection. Clinton! Lynch! Comey himself is not to be trusted! Yep. Only Donald Trump speaks the truth in their alternative universe.
It wouldn't surprise me if the request to wire tap had something to do with the 2 or 3 banks (Deutschebank being one) that had admitted to Russian money laundering schemes, it fits the timeframe.
