To cut a deal where Pence promises Ryan the kind of tax reform, health care plan and entitlement changes that Ryan wants??? In exchange for invoking the 25th Amendment of the Constitution?
25th Amendment
Section 4. Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

maybe he went to see him to talk about the pending Hillary indictment and Bills island activities that will throw govt. into chaos. or maybe it's about the upcoming March 15th debt debacle. probably the later but DC and the dems are very worried about the 1st.
My guess is that he just went to talk about some presidential business with a key legislative leader. Someone has to govern after all, and we all know Trump is going to do it. If it doesn't involve dumb tweets and showboating, he's not interested.
So two guys who both work in Washington during the week decide they need a "can't wait" face to face meeting in Wisconsin on a weekend.
The House is in recess March 4-13, so um... yeah, I can see why a guy who presumably goes to Indiana a lot would swing up to see a guy about a horse in Wisconsin.

Its more simplistic than that. in short, the Obamacare replacement isnt going to work. Republicans knew that 5 years ago.
I still don't trust Ryan. I hope that I'm proven wrong over time, but I really do not trust Paul Ryan.
Is it his Eddie Munster hairline?
