Hmm. Nope. Trump does not have any business deals with Russia.
On the otherhand, Obamagate is very very real. Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch can't save him now.
No one know if anything is real (Trump colluding with Russia and Obamagate). But it is so funny that now NYT says Trump offers no evidence when they published so many articles without showing any proof.
It is said that warrants were requested. The first was denied, the second was modified to eliminate the objection.
So...
Now there are news about FBI asking DOJ to quash these allegations. Looks like there is nothing there. May be FBI will make a statement. If it is True, Trump needs to shutdown his twitter account and say sorry to Obama.
There was an email server in the Trump organization that communicated regularly with a Kremlin-owned bank. Very few other IP addresses were allowed to communicate with this server.
Interestingly enough, Spectrum Health in Michigan was one of these. Devon's husband has been involved with Spectrum Health for some time now.
The FISA request was likely about this private email server.
Odds of winning are another issue. To win a lawsuit when suing someone for libel or slander you have to prove or show sufficient evidence of harm: emotionally, psychologically, or financially.
So, Obama would have to show evidence of loss of income or financial opportunity like Jesse Ventura had to show in his lawsuit against the estate of another Navy SEAL, Chris Kyle, when he sued for libel. Or Obama would have to show harm other ways such as Trumps false claims causing him to not sleep at nights, curl in a fetal position in Michelle's arms and cry himself to sleep. Or he would have to have a psychiatrist take the stance and swear under oath that he or she is prescribing him anti-depression medication to get through each day due to Trump's slander of him.
I believed I learned all this in a community college course on journalism, on the topic of libel and slander.
Of important note is the average American is protected under privacy rights. But once a person comes into the "public light" as I think US courts classify it, you forgo that protection under the law. Politicians and celebrities, or even someone like Casey Anthony have placed themselves in the public light and are not protected under all privacy rights in the United States. They may still have medical privacy rights though, I don't know.
According to NYT, now FBI says it is FALSE. Obama should sue Trump and get at leas a sorry for him. How come these news leaked out to NYT or Wapo first?

Why would the FBI know this?.......Obama's Justice Department did this, they went around Comey. Especially when he was investigating Hillary and Obama couldn't control him.
Obama used his Justice Department and use one of our many Intel agencies to do the wire tapping. Obama would be stupid if he goes to the FBI for this dirty work.

why would Comey get defensive and come out so fast about this? does the FBI knows what the Obama's Justice Department did all the time behind his back?
Does the FBI knows all the time what the NSA and all of our intel departments are doing? of course not!
if the DOJ doesn't quash this, then there is something there and what is Comey going to do?
