oh please, the right tries to define the left as violent only because your side is hoping to use extreme violence and wants cover. The real thugs are the violent hateful ultra right racists the continue to back trump and are using his win as an excuse to incite violence .

Not that you care about the truth. How could someone from the left care about that? The biggest bald faced lair to be President was yours. The most unethical and immoral candidate every to win a major parties nomination in the last 50 years was yours.

Individual states can handle pollution.
Anyone for progressivism from either the left or the right has no common sense.
Fine.

How is taxation theft? And bare in mind what I said to the last person to say this: just because you couldn't be bothered to call your congressman and air your grievances does not mean your rights have been violated. Be a political citizen if it bothers you but don't play the postmodernist game of saying words mean new things.

Nancy 'botox' Pelosi? You take what she says seriously? 'We have to vote for the ACA before we know what's in it' Pelosi.

The primary election results (not to mention the general election result and the collapse in turnout) would seem to argue the opposite. In every case where Sanders ran in an open primary with no party machine to oppose him or rig the vote, he wiped the floor. Many of his votes came from political independents and Republicans who crossed party lines to vote for him

When actually presented with socialist policies, most Americans favor them overwhelmingly.

I don't much care any more (if I ever did) who is left or right .. I am always centering myself and using rational thinking to do that (note: not 'radical thinking') and I always vote for truth, personal responsibility and common sense .. and for what makes sense in light of what the founders intended - which I believe still has relevance in today's world.

That's a deflection. Why are you here if you can't engage in politics?

Authoritarianism within the statist paradigm is extreme. So both "sides" are guilty.

The statist Right might...and I stress might be able to adapt to a free society if we ever found ourselves liberated. The libertarian contingent would have the best chance to do so. But the majority of the Right wouldn't make it.

The statist Left is officially toast. This past election in combination with Obama's regime has shown that if you're still putting your eggs in that basket you are hopeless. You will never be able to grasp the ideas of freedom, private property and non-aggression.

I have no idea what to do with these folks who make up roughly 50% of the population.

Because you sounded like you believe her when she says something....that is about as political partisan as it gets.

no. Sanders did well because he was not Hillary Clinton. He also had the "cool old guy" appeal. Not everyone can sell those policies and most Democrats cannot
