Trump spends 10 seconds tweeting his response to some garbage accusations printed by Breitbart, accusing the former POTUS of criminal activity, and then happily moves on to tweeting about Schwarzenegger. This man is INSANE. Meanwhile, the whole world is turned upside down by his unproven allegations. Newsflash: Trump has already forgotten about it. He couldn't care less. It's more important to him that he got to fire Schwarzenegger. He is INSANE.
How can Obama wiretap Trump? That has to be approved by a federal judge. Which would mean there is evidence Trump committed a crime. He better hope it's not true otherwise get use to saying president Pence.
Something is there. There are some democrats who are not happy with FBI update to committee. They think, FBI is not sharing counter intelligence reports. Former bush AG outlines 2 roles of FBI. But If FBI guys says there is nothing, I think there is nothing.
I think you are dead on with this phrasing.
I highly doubt 1, but I think 2 is almost a certainty.
I think the more critical question is what was obtained, and was this information shared with the State Department? (Which was legal to do, but certainly a significant ethical issue if that did happen.)
I would also like to know if it stopped at Trump. Were other Republican candidates bugged? Were Sanders and Kucinich bugged? If so, was information obtained from those taps shared with the State Department?
It's hard to imagine, given what we already know, that spying, at least on Trump's people, wasn't a wide-spread and indiscriminate.
The Sanders question is an interesting one.
I have to admit I hadn't thought of that, but it certainly does seem plausible.
Maybe, and I'm just speculating here, the Sanders fishing expedition (assuming one took place) yielded the sort of information that put Sanders in a position of having to endorse Clinton - or else!
I won't vote because I don't know. If Trump was really wiretapped I'm sure the FBI and secret service will investigate. There are plenty of people out there who could have done this besides Obama.
I haven't been following too closely, has any other government official commented that Trumps phones were actually tapped?
Not sure how you would justify a legal wiretap of a political opponent in the last days of a campaign.
If Nixon got the FBI to legally bug the DNC instead of the plumbers breaking in, would that be just fine in your world?
Democrats are just butt hurt about losing the election.

Not really.
Trump won the election and it appears, according to leaked information, his campaign was spied upon.
The problem the establishment is having with the election of Trump is that, unlike the elections leading up to 2016 wherein the choice was between a Republican corporate ***** and Democrat corporate *****, in this election the working-class had a candidate of their own in the contest.
It really pisses them off that they couldn't force me to vote for the lesser of two evils and they are not about to accept my vote or the election process as the final word.
Obama played by the book, if something occurred -can bet your sweet a... It was legal.
Obama played by the book? Are you serious?
You mean when an injunction was issued by the Fifth Circuit Court for him to stop with DAPA? He totally ignored the injunction and issued another 100,000 DAPA permits until he was caught violating the injunction.
Exactly. If Obama did I truly think he has a reason. What was Trump up to?
You've already received the official results of the initial fishing exposition completed in January, and the answer is zip, zilch, nichts, diddly-squat!
CHUCK TODD:
Well, that's an important revelation at this point. Let me ask you this. Does intelligence exist that can definitively answer the following question, whether there were improper contacts between the Trump campaign and Russian officials?
JAMES CLAPPER:
We did not include any evidence in our report, and I say, "our," that's N.S.A., F.B.I. and C.I.A., with my office, the Director of National Intelligence, that had anything, that had any reflection of collusion between members of the Trump campaign and the Russians. There was no evidence of that included in our report.
