A little late for this litigant.

Bottom line is if the state is all about individual liberty as Texans claim, why'd they come up with this crap in the first place?

Conservative Texans, just like all other conservatives were ripping the SCOTUS a new one over the eminent domain ruling. Meanwhile, they were voting in politicians that promised to deliver super draconian confiscatory policies in civil forfeitures with little to no evidence of an underlying crime.

They were working on it before Thomas made it an issue.

This whole BS about liberty is garbage. Texas was never a shining model of liberty, it just had more areas that respected liberty than other states. Texas still has stupid blue laws, and many other issues, BUT... if you think they are as intrusive as CA then you are out and out lying.

The fact is, all you are doing is pushing the same BS rhetoric that you always push. It is all misdirections, smoke and mirrors and political activism.

Run along, I am sure some white person somewhere is offending you that you need to condemn!

Thomas is right on this issue. Some conservatives have a libertarian streak. When they do they make perfect sense.

Nah...white folks don't make a habit of offending me. Maybe that's what white folks do where you're from. We don't play that around here.

And I already knew that Texans are fulla **** when they talk as if their state allows lots of personal liberty. You're not telling me anything I didn't already know. And yes, it's NO BETTER than California. So lemme bust that delusional bubble right now before you push that false narrative any further. In fact, Texas is probably far worse.

We won't even get into the Texas Tort reform legislation. Yeah...another example of Lone Star highway robbery of their state residents.
