-You can clearly see in the Trump photo that large tents ubstructed the view of the Capitol building, so obviously no one is going to stand past them and stare at a tent.

-If you look closely, you will see that in the Obama picture large video screens were provided for viewing. In the Trump photo, they had less screens. Obviously people are going to go to those areas with screens and avoid those without.

-The question remains: were these factors a deliberate attempt by the Park Service or someone higher up (Obama) (or the Russians) to influence attendance?
What about those empty patches of grass way up front? Was The Moscow airport snowed in that day?

And then Trump's claim doesn't appear so stupid.

Trump's crowd was bigger if you include the TV and live-streaming audience.

Trump's inauguration was watched by more people by far than any other inauguration in history.

Man... I HATE using this term. But this is fake news.

Gigapixel: The inauguration of Donald Trump

This basically was proof that those pics in the OP's post were taken an hour or two before the actual inauguration.

Edit: For me, the pic doesn't' work anymore, but here are screenshots from it.

So what if people in liberal Democrat Washington D.C. and its liberal Democrat environs didn't show up to watch the inauguration in bad weather?

Why would anyone expect them to?

The ones employed in the federal government (over 90% of their contributions were to Hillary) were too busy plotting to destroy Trump -- which they have been trying to do ever since.

Because Washington is overwhelmingly Democrat, it would be more fair to compare Trump's inauguration crowd to those of Bush and Reagan. Even then, you would have to take the weather into account -- and the fact that some people have to work on Fridays, even a few Democrats.

How do you know that?

Are you suggesting that television and internet streaming were only invented between 2009 and 2017?

That no one watched Obama's inauguration on television or the internet?

That's kind of silly, don't you think?
