I mean, technological unemployment is only going to become more normal and we might even experience an increase in poverty. People say that technology becoming advanced is inevitable, but why so? Why can't the governments in today's world simply ban or regulate the production of technology or other certain machines?
I sometimes hate the social side-effects of technology too. I want to live in a nice pre-2k society where people had responsible lifestyles and were a lot nicer in general.
At first I thought this was a joke, but I guess you're serious. Why in the world did they ever let people watch TV when everyone had radios? Why should we be able to use washing machines with digital settings when grandma washed clothes by hand?
What we need is better education and job training in this country, not a society that ranks 17th in the world in education. (world ranking as of 2015)

Should this happen all at once or a gradual rollback? I have a copy of Windows 98 somewhere. In a few years, I can get a '67 Mustang and not too long after that, a '57 Chevy! And a B&W TV with rabbit ears!
