The topic is Sanders and him asking what we should do about a president lying. If Sanders had stepped up and held Obama's feet to the fire we wouldn't have had a President Trump. That is what I wanted. I want principled politicians.
Including ones who don't lie? Awesome, because I presume you also want the current one not to lie?

Absolutely. That he obviously has no problem with not always being truthful is one reason among many I did not vote for him.

I voted for Sanders but his partisanship bothers me.

Trump lies on a daily basis. Let that sink in. Donald J. Trump, POTUS, lies on a daily basis. About things easily proved to be false.

Obama did not do that, and it is totally disingenuous to pretend otherwise. Obama did not recite litanies of falsehoods every day, in tweets or otherwise. Obama did not lie 75% of the time as Trump does.

Trump is a pathological liar who has a very difficult time distinguishing fact and fiction, who believes everything he hears on Fox & Friends and reads on Breitbart, and has no problem immediately repeating it, whether true or not, who makes things up in his head on the spur of the moment. This is not true of Obama--not at all.

Trump never corrects himself, never backs down, never takes responsibility for anything he says or does and never ever admits he made a mistake. And when he is caught in a lie or a mistake, he immediately blames someone or something else.
