Former CIA & NSA Officials Team Up To Debunk “Russian Hacking” Conspiracy Theory
Two former high-ranking intelligence officers teamed in an op-ed for the Baltimore Sun that ripped apart the Obama administration’s unproven claim that The Russians interfered with the U.S. election by way of hacking systems of the Democratic establishment to lock in Donald Trump’s win.

McAfee debunks new FBI report on Russian hacking
Based on all of his experience, McAfee does not believe that Russians were behind the hacks on the Democratic National Committee (DNC), John Podesta’s emails, and the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign. As he told RT, “if it looks like the Russians did it, then I can guarantee you it was not the Russians.”

Investigating Donald Trump, F.B.I. Sees No Clear Link to Russia
WASHINGTON — For much of the summer, the F.B.I. pursued a widening investigation into a Russian role in the American presidential campaign. Agents scrutinized advisers close to Donald J. Trump, looked for financial connections with Russian financial figures, searched for those involved in hacking the computers of Democrats, and even chased a lead — which they ultimately came to doubt — about a possible secret channel of email communication from the Trump Organization to a Russian bank.

Law enforcement officials say that none of the investigations so far have found any conclusive or direct link between Mr. Trump and the Russian government. And even the hacking into Democratic emails, F.B.I. and intelligence officials now believe, was aimed at disrupting the presidential election rather than electing Mr. Trump.

William Binney left NSA in 2001, his response an Opinion article of around 100 words is Clapper lied before and NSA didn't provide enough details. I guess that is what passes as proof? You are looking at old articles from early November.

The intelligence agencies briefed select congressmen with details on the Russian hacking, anyone worth his weight from both sides of the aisle agree that the Russians hacked into our system including the FBI.

Which is probably what happened.

A FISA ( Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) warrant is used to spy on agents of foreign powers. If that's what our intelligence agencies were doing, then they were doing their job.

Now, if you call /text a foreign agent repeatedly, your conversation is going to be recorded. That's your own darn fault.

It has been clarified multiple times. We need some one familiar with FISA to clarify again. It is not possible to wiretap any US citizens calls without FISA warrant. Without warrant, they suppose to stop listening to call if there is an american in the call. It is not possible to pretend that they tapped Flynn calls inadvertently. They do not need any warrant to listen to foreigners. Not sure about resident aliens without citizenship.

its been proven time and time again that Bush and Obama's NSA was listening in on americans phone, internet, emails, and through their smart tvs WITHOUT warrants

WASHINGTON — Without public notice or debate, the Obama administration has expanded the National Security Agency‘s warrantless surveillance of Americans’ international Internet traffic to search for evidence of malicious computer hacking, according to classified N.S.A. documents.

Court rules NSA program illegal

Washington (CNN) — A federal appeals court ruled on Thursday that the telephone metadata collection program, under which the National Security Agency gathers up millions of phone records on an ongoing daily basis, is illegal under the Patriot Act.

The government has argued it has the power to carry forward with the program under a section of the Patriot Act, which expires in June. Lawmakers are locked in a debate on whether or how to renew the authority, which was first passed shortly after the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks on New York and Washington, but has been renewed by both Presidents Bush and Obama in the intervening years.

Documents confirming the program's existence were first revealed in June of 2013 with the leaks by former government contractor Edward Snowden.

----------------------------------------------------

we are now witnessing in the case of the warrantless NSA spying ordered by President Bush that was reported December 16, 2005 by the New York Times.

According to the Times, Bush signed a presidential order in 2002 allowing the National Security Agency to monitor without a warrant the international (and sometimes domestic) telephone calls and e-mail messages of hundreds or thousands of citizens and legal residents inside the United States. The program eventually came to include some purely internal controls - but no requirement that warrants be obtained from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court as the 4th Amendment to the Constitution and the foreign intelligence surveillance laws require.

How the NSA Started Investigating the New York Times’ Warrantless Wiretapping Story
Three days after the New York Times revealed that the U.S. government was secretly monitoring the calls and emails of people inside the United States without court-approved warrants, the National Security Agency issued a top-secret assessment of the damage done to intelligence efforts by the story. The conclusion: the information could lead terrorists to try to evade detection. Yet the agency gave no specific examples of investigations that had been jeopardized.

You had better be careful about talking about golfing. Trump has golfed at least 5 weekends at Mar a Lago.

So, let's have it have a real investigation then, not what Jason Chaffetz is doing. He's still wanting to investigate Benghazi some more. Guess that dog ain't quite dead yet.
