Any of the women who are on disability, unemployment benefits or welfare should be getting less as if you can March than you can work!

Everything would run just fine. If not a lot more efficient.

All my girlfriends are working today. Had to go into the city, so I met up with one of them. No red. As for me, eggplant, coral and white. No red walking around on the street, either. Seems like overkill.

If anyone was expecting this to be a big march in DC (2 local school districts in the DC Metro Area closed because of this), then you'd be disappointed.

There's a small group of women who are protesting (the ones in the Twitter videos). That's it. No one else is out here protesting or doing anything. I just walked around the mall (near the Capitol and Washington Monument)...and it's just a normal day here in DC.

So Soros spent $246 million bucks on this...for 25-30 people to show up?

Wait...what? But surely there were at least 300 there?

This district is a mere metro ride from D.C. They aren't making the day up either since they didn't use all their snow days. I told my administrator friend from there it was bullcrap.

I went to work. Like I said in another thread, the only one who would miss me if I didn't show up to work today is myself on Thursday (because I'd have two days worth of work to do, not one).

We did have one lady take off work today but I don't know why. If it was for women's day, she didn't tell us. Everyone else showed up and no one wore red (although one lady wore pink, not sure if that counts). She's the most liberal one at work and she thought this day without a woman thing was pretty silly too.

Oh okay it's today, I didn't realize that. I haven't noticed anything different, it is spring break for some.

I walked out around the mall during lunch. I didn't see any protesters at all. It was just normal people out, enjoying the day. I went to the Capitol Building and there were none of these protesters.

I saw a video later that showed about 50-70 women, but again, it was just in one little isolated group. That was it. But I can't find anything of any huge crowds besides this tweet.

But definitely not the hype that the media made it out to be where I expected it to be half the size of the 1/21 Women's March and having the streets blocked off. I'm sure I can get in my car and drive around right now and would not see any of the protesters at all.

Hmmmm....working in DC. I didn't even realize there was supposed to be a march at all. I thought it was just about women staying home from work to demonstrate what their absence from work would be like. DC itself didn't even plan for an "event" so not sure anything was supposed to happen.

Two school districts closed because of leave requests and lack of subs to cover but that probably didn't even equate to that many teachers taking off.

It's worn out because they have nothing to complain about.
