All the press that pushed Russian this and that backed off already. A Russian nothing burger pushed forward by fake news. As you say, downright silly, it does come with felony complications involved.

This is exactly correct. Trump's allegations are not new.
If, in fact, he is only just NOW ranting about the wiretaps on his campaign - well, then, one has to ask - "where has he been all this time?"
All of this came out in January because of the MI6 report and b/c his campaign people were talking to the Russians ALL THE TIME prior to the election which our intelligence people discovered during routine monitoring of the Russians. So, govt got wiretaps on his campaign.
This is not NEW news. Trump is just being his usual, stupid, lying, deflecting, bloviating self with this tweet.
Once again, he proves he is a deranged know-nothing and a liar.
I don't think anyone is so stupid as to imagine we'd never wiretap Russians.
You do know that this isn't the issue, right?
Of course, if Trump was caught in illicit dealings with Russians, then he deserves the worst that can happen.
