I take this as a rhetorical question. We all know why they do that. Conflate legal with illegal. If you really want to wade into controversy let's talk about limiting even legal immigration. This is what the libs accuse the conservatives of and with the Tom Cotton bill they are proved right.

Yeah bc it's much better to call a guy who came here as a baby and served in Afghanistan an illegal? Since Conservatives are too lazy to distinguish groups, I'm going to err on the side of not offending someone who's doing his best to live the American dream honorably.
