So, another lie. No biggie, right? After all, it's just a minor lie compared to all the others.
No more than all of O's "minor lies".
It's politics, you know. You all were OK with it when O was the Pres. Why the furor now?
Actually, I view Trump agreeing that O was born in the US as I would deal with a pesky kid who insists that I agree with something...OK, that's what you want me to say...here you go. Now go away.
It's a 'brush off' to a pesky press. Besides, why are you calling it a lie? You say it's not a lie. All you want is for him to agree with what you believe is the truth.
Obama's biological father is Frank Marshall Davis, a Comminist community activist from Chicago who was also a porn photographer that Obama's mother posed for.
this is my favorite bit of comedy in birtherism. filmmaker joel gilbert's claims are based solely on a few nude photos that he claims are stanley anne dunham and were taken by frank marshall davis. turns out the photos were published years before gilbert claimed they were taken ( and years before dunham could have met davis ). since gilbert shows the front of the magazine he would have been aware of the publishing date. it's an intentional fraud.
1. Back in 1961 people of color were called “Negroes”. So how can that Obama’s “birth certificate” state that he is "African-American" when the term wasn't even used at that time?
first up it states "african" not "african-american". next "african" is a race option on the 1961 kenyan census. parents' race is self-reported on a birth certificate. it is consistent that a black man from kenya would list his race as "african".

2. ...except the fact that Kenya did not even exist until 1963, ...
kenya did exist in 1961 it just didn't become independent till 1963. there are many official documents to be found from 1961 and earlier referring to the country as "kenya".

3. On the Birth Certificate released by the White House, the listed place of birth is "Kapi'olani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital "
there are multiple birth certificates from the same month and hospital available to view online that all list it as "Kapi'olani Maternity & Gynecological Hospital "

4. Another clue comes from Obama's book on his father. He states how proud he is of his father fighting in WWII.
that's from a speech, not his book, and as we've already seen in this thread it's pretty obvious he meant to refer to his grandfather.
Yet, it is Jesus who tells us NOT to accept other religions. So just what is a true Christian to do?
Jesus plainly stated in John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: "no one cometh unto the Father, but by me"
Christianity is exclusive, intolerant of other religious faiths, because they lead people away from Jesus Christ. I do believe we are to deny our family, before we deny Christ. Walking in harmony with other religions doesn't seem to be what you think Jesus believes. One can not be saved by a religion.......and one can't be saved by adding Jesus as a prophet who will help usher in Muhammad. Jesus never says he will be behind/beside a chosen prophet.
It seems President Obama was always telling Christians we were to accept Muslims and NEVER telling Muslims they needed to accept Christianity! When President Obama quoted from the Bible he always quoted the OT........why did he not find the NT of importance, to quote from?
We can respect their views, but to ever think we serve the same God or walk the same path is only a fantasy of those who like to think what Jesus said, and not what he did say.
I don't think this certificate even matters now and why now, would he produce it? Why didn't he show it back when this first came up. President Obama did much more damage to the faith of Christianity than any other Christian President. My guess, many Presidents and people think Christians are to be accepting of all things. Looks like following the Bible is not so easy, in a multicultural country.
Jesus is not the hippie, sit on the sideline, live and let live kind of man, accept all religions.......like your last President. I think many people also confuse growing up as a Christian to being a Christian. The reason I say this, most things I see written about President Obama and his mom, they use the phrase "raised as a Christian", not being a Christian.......huge difference IMO.
This really belongs on the Religion forum, but Christianity, and Jesus in particular, preaches tolerance of all people. You may consider Christianity to be the only path to heaven, but that does not mean you exclude other religions from your country, or persecute them or discriminate against them. President Obama, and President Bush before him, held up this principle which is in keeping with both the Christian religion and the US Constitution. I really don't know what "damage to the faith" you are talking about.
