That's BS. Economic optimism fuels the economy. If businesses aren't optimistic, they're not going to invest in new construction even if it was planned last year. Apparently you didn't live thorough the housing meltdown in 2008. Companies were pretty quick to pull the plug on new projects once optimism ran out.
But just admit you're praying for an economic collapse, otherwise your narrative of Trump won't work out and he might get reelected. You would far well economically, but you're willing to risk that to prove you didn't back the wrong horse.
so we know straight up that the numbers are normal.
Furthermore trump not scaring off the preexisting construction plans, is nothing to brag about, you may as well claim trump is great because he has not yet destroyed the status quo.
Oh yes you can because those reports told us a story about how the job market was already saturated and we were at full employment levels. Trump called that a "joke" and said he would prove them wrong which is what he is doing.
That's not the way it works. When the unemployment rate is low, it means the job market is positive, not the opposite as you suggest. If unemployment is very low, even zero, that doesn't mean no jobs exist.

That's so easy to answer. Every year there are over 2 million college degrees awarded. About 200,000 of them are Associates Degrees and about 1.8 million are Bachelor's Degrees. Many of these graduates will continue their education, but there are always people looking for work, even in the best of times.
No doubt, that Pres. Trump has his plate full ...
of
all sorts of crap to resolve, which he is making progress, not nearly as fast as he would like.
Unfortunately, he also inherited...
so said Chris Hedges:
“We now live in a nation...
where religions destroy morals,
universities destroy knowledge,
doctors destroy health,
banks destroy the economy,
government destroys freedom,
the press destroys information, &
lawyers destroy justice”
I will ask the same question of Trump, that I asked of Obama - what did he do regarding the increase in job numbers?
Because companies promising to make investments in manufacturing jobs... those jobs haven't occurred yet.
I would attribute it more to a warm winter where maybe constructions jobs were able to continue, and oil prices have risen that have prompted companies to start re-hiring...
At some point - jobs will seasonally re-adjust, and the numbers will go down. Then we will have the whole Trump loses sentiment... when the truth is he is not the main factor in these numbers, despite his claim.
